FAQS

How long should my hair be?

The hair should be 1/4 of an inch long. Please stop shaving, trimming or using nair 2-4 weeks before your wax appointment.

How long will my wax last?

Re-growth can occur within 1-2 weeks for the first few waxes but as you consistently wax every 4-6 weeks your results will last longer. Results vary from person to person and there are many factors on the outcome. The more you wax and maintain a great skin care regimen, the longer your results will last.

How often should I wax?

The bikini area and body should be waxed every 4-6 weeks for best wax results.

The underarms and facial features should be waxed every 2-4 weeks depending on hair growth.

(During your initial visit, we will recommend when to schedule your next visit)

"Does it hurt?"

Pain level varies per person. Discomfort will minimize after each wax by staying on a 4-6 week waxing schedule and exfoliating 2-3x's per week.

**DO NOT SHAVE/TWEEZE IN BETWEEN YOUR WAXING SERVICES**

How to prepare for my wax?

You should exfoliate your skin 2-3 DAYS before your waxing appointment.

Take a shower before your appoinment to open/soften the pores.

Avoid caffeine/alcohol 2-4 hours before your appointment.

You may take an ibuprofen 30 minutes before your appoinment. (Consult your doctor before taking any medications)

Wear lose clothing and cotton underwear if receiving any kind of bikini wax.

"Will my skin get irritated after waxing?"

Irritation/breakouts are common.  Avoid products that contain high fragrances until breakouts are gone and use a fragrance-free body wash and lotion. After care instructions will be given during appointment.

Yes! Place a new tampon in before the service. Keep in mind waxing can be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

Can I wax during pregnancy?

Yes! If you have concerns please consult your doctor.
